Location

The Iden Lock to Appledore section of the Royal Military Canal runs from Iden Lock ( TN31 7QE ) east of Iden village just inside Sussex, northwards past the Kent Ditch and into Kent, then past Stone in Oxney village and on up to Appledore Dam farm just south of the village, adjacent to where the Reading Sewer joins the canal. The Military Road runs along the west bank of the canal. Both banks are available for angling and there are numerous parking spots along the venue.
