The canal runs from Oxford in the south up to the Coventry Canal. Due to being such a lengthy waterway (over 70 miles) it is often considered for ease of reference as having two halves: the North section and the South section. This fishing guide covers the Oxfordshire and south Warwickshire length of the South Oxford Canal.
Angling in the canal offers the chance to catch many coarse fish species including pike, tench, bream, chub, dace, roach, and perch.
