Location

Lyne is a village directly west of Chertsey mainly established around Lyne Lane and Almners Road, and south west of the M3/M25 interchange. KT16 0AN.

Angler amenities

Fishing in the area is supplied by Lyne Lake on the north side of the village where fishing is via a season ticket. Species present include silvers, tench, bream , and carp to thirty pound plus.

There are no fishing tackle shops in Lyne village. The nearest fishing tackle shop is the on-site tackle shop at Thorpe Lea Fishery, Thorpe Lea Road, Thorpe, Surrey TW20 8PG, and after that Davies Angling (47-49 Church Street, Staines TW18 4EN).

There are no supermarkets or general stores present. Nearby Chertsey provides the nearest shopping and supermarket facilities. There is a farm shop on Hardwick Lane KT16 0AA which provides basics such as milk, bread, cakes, etc.
