Location

Sandhurst is located in the south east corner of Berkshire, to the south of Bracknell Forest. The town is near to Yateley and Camberley, and the A3095 runs through it. GU47 9BL.

Angler amenities

Fishing in Sandhurst is supplied by two venues. Sandhurst Lake is an established day ticket specimen coarse fishing venue, whilst Sandhurst Memorial Park Pond (run by Sandhurst Town Council) offers free pleasure angling.

Sandhurst Lake is a 14 acre still-water which holds carp to mid-40s and along with tench and bream. Three rods are allowed and night fishing is permitted.

There are no fishing tackle shops in Sandhurst, but there is one at nearby Yateley: Yateley Angling Centre (16 The Parade, Reading Road, Yateley, Surrey GU46 7UN).

For stocking up for fishing trips there are two major supermarkets in the town: Waitrose at 390-398, Yorktown Road, Sandhurst GU47 0PU, and Tesco Extra at The Meadows, Marshall Road, Sandhurst GU47 0FD.
