Location

River Thames, Buscot runs downstream from below St Johns Lock and Weir, on both banks to the vicinity of Cheese Wharf. Below this point fishing is from the north bank only down to the area opposite Buscot Wharf. SN7 8DA. Angling is also permitted at Buscot Weir Pool from 1st October, and from the run off at St Johns Lock from 1st November.

River Thames, New Hinksey is located on the west side of Oxford, east of South Hinksey. The fishing venue runs from Folly Bridge ( OX1 1SW ) where the A4144 Abingdon Road crosses the Thames down the west bank of the Thames past Grandpont, Queens College recreation Ground, and Eastwyke Farm, under Donnington Bridge, past Iffley Lock, and down to just south of the A423.

Location

The River Thames, Osney to Folly fishing venue is on the west side of Oxford, just south of Oxford railway station. This stretch of river runs from Osney at Botley Road ( OX2 0AA ) south past Osney Marina then heads east past the merger with Bulstake Stream and then onto Folly Bridge ( OX1 1SW ) where the A4144 Abingdon Road crosses the Thames.

River Thames, Binsey Location

River Thames, Binsey lies west of Oxford at Binsey between Godstow / Lower Wolvercote and Osney. Angling on the west bank runs from Godstow Lock ( OX2 8PJ ), near Godstow Abbey ruins, along the Thames Path past Binsey village ( OX2 0NL ) and down to Medley Manor Farm. On the east bank angling starts south of Godstow Road and runs down through Port Meadow to the vicinity of Medley Bridge at Fiddler’s Island
At Fiddler’s Island a portion of the river diverts off into Castle Mill Stream and fishing is from the east bank of the slimmer Thames (also known as Fiddler’s Stream at this point) down to Botley Road ( OX2 0AA ).

This short stretch of the River Thames runs for three fields downstream of the road bridge at Clifton Hampden on the south side of the Thames. Clifton Hampden lies south of Berinsfield and east of Abingdon, on the A415.  OX14 3EH.

Sandford Weir Location

The River Thames Sandford Weir fishing venue is on the west side of the River Thames facing the Sandford Weir and Lock islands in the vicinity of Kennington. As the Thames passes Rose Isle and heads downstream towards Sandford Lock, it splits into two waterways at Fiddlers Elbow and the main waterway runs along the east side of the islands to the Lock. Fishing is on the west waterway, on the west bank above the weir and below to Sandford Lane. OX1 5RP.
