Description


Desborough Island is a substantial island within a big river offering free river angling in north Surrey. Numerous swims are available, with the ones in the vicinity of the bridges from Walton Lane being most used. Parking is available in small lay-bys along Walton Lane.

The middle of the north of the island is overgrown and there are few swims there. The east end of the bank facing Desborough Channel is private and cannot be fished.
