Canal fishing: Aylesbury to Marsworth

Location

This stretch of canal is an off shoot of the main Grand Union Canal, and splits away in the vicinity of Marsworth and then heads west to Aylesbury (HP20 1EB) via Wilstone (HP23 4PE), Puttenham, and Broughton. HP22 5EZ. The towpath is on the south side of the canal.

Description

A long stretch of canal supplying coarse angling via season ticket in urban and mainly rural areas. Boat traffic is moderate, and far bank features are good. Try float fished corn for the tench. For the club’s webpage for this venue click HERE.
