Details

A picturesque stretch of the Navigation running through rural meadows with peaceful, spacious swims.

The western, upstream, end of the stretch can be accessed along the towpath from Newark Lane where a small free car park sits on the west side of the road. It is several hundred yards along the path and past the Lock to where Abbey Stream joins the Navigation that the angling area begins.

Downstream stetch: Pyrford Lock to Walsham Gates

Upstream stretch: Newark Lock to Papercourt Lock
